The importance of events to the community

Events sponsored by the Foundation include the Annual Gala, the Fall Golf Tournament, pictures with Santa Claus, "Give it a Tri" Indoor Sprint Triathlon, and the annual Spring Fling.  These outstanding events have provided funds for many new and meaningful services:

·                     Hands On Health Interactive Learning Center

·                     DRH Learning Center Scholarship opportunities

·                     DRHHF Hospital Equipment Fund

In addition to raising much-needed funds for healthcare programs and services, the Foundation events are considered some of the premier social events in the community. These events serve as opportunities for the community to come together in friendship and fun, not only to celebrate the success of their hospital, but also to show continuing support of a valued partner.
