APRIL 2026

Ebony Moore, RN

Birth Center

Ebony was my night nurse in labor and delivery after I had already been in the process of being induced for over 24 hours. This was my first pregnancy, and I was being induced due to gestational hypertension—I was scared, overwhelmed, and so nervous. The moment Ebony walked into my room, everything changed. Her presence alone brought a sense of calm. She cared for me, encouraged me, and did everything she could to make me laugh and feel at ease. When it came time to push, she never left my side. She coached both my husband and me through every moment. Not once did she make me feel like I was being dramatic or that my voice didn’t matter. I truly don’t know what I would have done without her during such a life-changing experience. To her, we may have just been another shift, but to me, she’s someone I will never forget. She made one of the most important days of my life feel safe, supported, and joyful. She truly deserves the world.

This is Ebony's 2nd Honor!
