The Promise of DRH Nursing
Our patients count on receiving the compassionate and exceptional care promised in our mission. DRH nurses are very dedicated and highly skilled. They take pride in that and it shows in their work. Patients and their families are the beneficiaries. To maintain this exceptional level of nursing excellence, our committed donors support Duncan Regional Hospital in developing, retaining and providing career advancement opportunities for the best and brightest nurses.
• Endowment for Nursing Education – An endowment for nursing education provides a sustainable resource for nursing students to attend classes at the DRH Learning Center and for DRH nurses to meet southwest Oklahoma’s health care needs, now and in the future.
• Nursing Scholarships – Nursing scholarships have a direct impact by assisting students working towards their BSN at the DRH Learning Center. Also, to help DRH increase the number of BSN-or-higher certified nurses at DRH to the recommended 80 percent by the Institute of Medicine.
• Naming Opportunities – Provides educational nursing opportunities while providing donor recognition. Areas available:
o Building $1,000,000
o Instructor Suite $100,000
o Skills Lab B $50,000
