Rob Johnson, RN (Cath Lab) is today's Health Hero! Rob was standing in line to pay for his lunch when a person ahead of him was unable to pay for their lunch. Rob went out of his way to pay for this person's lunch!!

Sam Jones (Central Scheduling) is today's health hero. Sam always goes above and beyond to make the impossible possible. She is so caring and attentive to the special needs of our patients. She set the bar high last evening when she actually went back to her office after hours to ensure one of our patients had received her instructions and had a ride to her early morning procedure. She made sure that our patient was not going to miss the procedure. Thank you, Sam! If everyone took the time to care as much as she does, the world we live in would be a much better place!

Dr. Jordan Gibbon is today's Health Hero. "I took my 102-year-old aunt for her toenails to be trimmed. Dr. Gibbon is always very compassionate, caring, and "funny." She was in a wheelchair and as he walked into the room, the nurse and I were trying to get her to the exam chair. He saw the painful struggle and said to leave her in the chair. He got all his tools, sat on the floor at her feet, and cared for her. It was one of the most compassionate acts that I have seen in a long time. We have always been pleased with Dr. Gibbon, but this day was the BEST. We are blessed that he came back home to practice."

Today's Health Hero is Tanya Stark, RN (ER) - Tanya was my ER nurse, and she provided personalized and professional care. She was calm and caring and responded promptly to every need I had, whether comfort care, medication, or information. She listened and made my husband and me feel at east. Thank you.

Tamara Daniel, RN (Jefferson County Hospital) is today's Health Hero. Tamara is always there to help whenever needed with a smile! She definitely cares for her patients and co-workers. You can always depend on her. She is one of the best and we love her!

Today's Health Hero is Beth Thaxton, RN (Jefferson County Hospital). Beth is one of the best RNs. I have the great honor to know and work with her. She is always there when you need her and helps you whenever you ask. She comes in with a great smile and is someone you love to work with. She cares for her patients and co-workers!

Meet today's Health Hero - Megan Hall, RN (Jefferson County Hospital). Megan is such a great mentor and is willing to help and teach others. She is very good with patient care.

Today's Health Hero is Char Butler (Imaging Center) - We came into the Imaging Center and Char was so attentive. She treated us like we were so important. She had the biggest smile on her face and was so caring and compassionate. It's the little things in life that make a difference and she did. She is a true hero.

Today's Health Hero is Megan Ndifor (Jefferson County Hospital). Megan has only been here for a month and has adapted well to the new job. I just wanted her to know how great a job she is doing and that it doesn't go unnoticed.

​Meet Rebecca Dunn, RN (Jefferson County Hospital), today's Health Hero. She is a dedicated nurse and an asset to Jefferson County Hospital. She is also a hard worker.
